Harm Reduction
The 3rd Thursday of each month (beginning Thursday, October 19th), Marion County Health Department will be hosting an opportunity for individuals to participate in Free and confidential visits with a nurse and/or other health care professional(s). Safety information and education and referral to treatment are all efforts to reduce individuals risk for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV. Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV testing will also be provided, as well as resources to help individuals assess treatment, Nalaxone Training, medical coverage and other services.
