Quick Response Team (QRT)

Marion QRTTogether we can help

QRT Connection Line: 304-278-4025

The Marion County Quick Response Team (QRT) was launched in 2020 and is a collaboration among public health, first responders, law enforcement, peer recovery support, prevention coalitions, office of drug control policy and many others that provide immediate and longer-term help to those struggling with substance misuse and addiction.

Marion QRT meets monthly with community partners and QRT team members to provide updates and discuss proactive approaches regarding those who have experienced a non-fatal overdose so that peers can connect with survivors within 72 hours with the goal of connection to resources and treatment. If you are interested in participating in our monthly meetings, please feel free to reach out and we can get you added to our email list.

Please reach out to Raven Berkey, QRT Program Administrator, at 304-278-4025 or at ravenlee@marioncountyqrt.org, with any questions.

Naloxone training and distribution

For those struggling with substance misuse to receive help, they need to stay alive. The Marion County QRT provides naloxone distribution and training to any individual, group, or organization that is interested. If interested in naloxone or naloxone training, reach out to Raven Berkey or Maxine Harker, QRT program administrator and QRT coordinator, at ravenlee@marioncountyqrt.org  or maxine@marioncountyqrt.org. Naloxone is also available via our QRT Connection line @ 304-278-4025 This number is managed personally by our QRT peers. QRT peers also provide outreach efforts at our local community agencies weekly. You can find weekly list on our facebook page for times and locations.
