At MCHD, we offer both public health and environmental health services. Below are lesser-known services we provide for our residents.

Vaccinations
School Immunizations, Flu Vaccine, Travel Vaccines, Adult Vaccines, and more.

STI/STD Screenings
Hepatitis B & C, HIV, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphillis, and more.

Tuberculosis Screening
T-Spot (Blood Test), PPD’s (Skin Test), LRA’s (Low Risk Assessment).

Blood/Lab Work
Have a doctor’s order for blood work? We can perform the draw at the health department.

Home Loan Evaulations
Our Environmental Health team can inspect your property's sewage system/well to determine its functionality.

E. coli Testing for Pools and Wells
Keep your swimming and drinking water safe by contacting our Environmental Health team to test for E. coli.

Temporary Food Permits
Did you know that if you are setting up to sell food at a fair or festival you still need to have a permit? Let us know when/where/what you are selling and we can make sure you're ready to go!
